How to Apply to Free TESDA Online Course on Bread and Pastry Production NC II



Do you want to learn how to bake cakes and start your cake business but don't know where to start? 

Well, good news! The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) now offers free online baking and pastry course. All you need is your mobile phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop computer and an internet connection so you can access the TESDA online course platform.

The TESDA Bread and Pastry NC II focuses on preparing cakes, and its module contains the following topics:

  • Getting Ready for Work
    • Introduction to Cake
    • Making Occupational Safety and Hygiene
    • Tools and Equipment Maintenance
    • Setting Up your Work Station
  • Understanding the Principles of Baking
    • Formulas and Measurements
    • The Baking Process
    • The Production Process
  • Preparing and Baking Sponges and Cakes
    • Baking Sponges and Cakes
  • Preparing Fillings, Coatings, Icing, and Decoration
    • Preparing Fillings and Coatings
    • Preparing Icing and Decoration
    • Presenting and Storing Cakes, Gateaux, and Tortes

How to Enroll in the TESDA Baking and Pastry Course?
  • First, you must create an account at the TESDA online course platform if you are a new user/student. Simply go to https://e-tesda.gov.ph/
  • If you are a returning student, log in to your e-tesda account and navigate to the list of courses located on the upper part of the system.






How to Create an Account in e-tesda
  • Go to the TOP website at https://e-tesda.gov.ph/.
  • On its homepage, click the Login button located at the upper right corner of the menu. Click the New Account You will be redirected to an online form—fields with an (i) are mandatory.
  • Fill in the needed information and then click Create Account.
  • After creating an account, a message will be sent to your registered email address. It contains a link that need to activate your account. Just click the link and your account will be activated.
