The TESDA Caregiving NC II is one of the comprehensive training offered by this institution. It aims to provide Filipinos with the knowledge and skills to give quality care to infants and elderly citizens and support them with their basic needs, such as bathing and changing clothes.
This course teaches you the proper physical, social, and intellectual approach to becoming a caregiver. To finish this course, you need at least 234 hours of extensive training, depending on your enrolled training facility.

Several countries from all over the world such as Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Saudi Arabia avail the services of a caregiver to manage the care of elderly loved ones and children. Here are the kinds of caregiving jobs abroad:
- Au pair - refers to foreigners who live with American families for up to a year, living as part of the host family and receiving a small allowance/salary. They help with household work and provide child or elderly care even without prior experience.
- Baby sitter - provides supervisory custodial care for children on an irregular, full or part-time basis.
- Governess - usually qualified teachers for full or part-time at-home education of children and are not responsible for physical aspects of childcare.
- Mother's Helper - works for the family to provide full-time childcare and other domestic help with one parent at home most of the time.
- Nanny - employed by families to provide unsupervised full-time childcare on either a live-in or live-out basis.
- Nursery nurse - a term used in the United Kingdom for a person who has received special training and preparation in caring for young children and has passed certification exams given by the National Nursery Examination Board.

How to Apply to TESDA's Caregiver Course for a Face-to-Face Training
- Go to TESDA's official website (https://www.tesda.gov.ph/).
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page and look for the Registered Courses under the Verifications Section.
- Click the link and you will be redirected to TVI with Registered Program. Type the Caregiving in the box provided and your location.
- The list of accredited centers where you can enroll in the caregiving course will appear.
- Contact the school or training center to inquire about the details (requirements, qualifications, application process, fees).
- Gather all the requirements needed and wait for the TESDA-accredited school for your schedule.
- Desktop computer, laptop, tablet, or mobile phone

- Valid email address
- Go to https://e-tesda.gov.ph/. If you have no account yet, register for an account so you can log in.
- You need an e-TESDA account so you can enroll in a course.
- On the list of courses, choose Human Health/Health Care then choose the Caregiving (Elderly) NC II.
For the Online Caregiving Course, you will learn the following modules:

- Participating in the Implementation and Monitoring of Client's Care Plan
