  • Formulate and identify logical considerations for efficient implementation of installation data sheets.

Checking PV components and Materials compliance

This module includes a discussion on the functions, mechanisms, and types of each component that helps you to:

  • Identify and differentiate the types and functions of each PV component/material;
  • Prepare test instruments for each PV component/material;
  • Perform test and safe handling of PV components/materials;
  • Identify common damage to PV components/materials.



Installing Photovoltaic Systems

This module helps you to understand the preparation and completion of PV systems installation. In this, you will be able to:

  • Identify the tools and instruments used in the installation of PV systems;
  • Demonstrate and perform wiring and pre-installation procedures of PV systems;
  • Demonstrate the process for the installation of the four types of PV systems;
  • Enumerate the standard operating procedures after installation.

Performing PV System Testing and Commissioning

This module helps you to understand the procedures and operation, including documentation, monitoring, and maintenance of commissioned PV systems. In this, you will be able to:

  • Define and describe the basic task in testing and commissioning;
  • Identify standard labels, markings, and standard codes for compliance in commissioning PV systems;
  • Enumerate the procedures, tools, and equipment in testing different types of PV systems;
  • Explain how power and energy production is verified in commissioned PV systems;
  • Familiarize yourself with common problems encountered in commissioned PV systems.

How to Enroll in TESDA Photovoltaic Systems Installation NC II

  • Make sure you create an account on the eTESDA website to enroll in the course.
  • Login to the website using your registered username and password.
  • After logging in, you will be directed to the eTESDA dashboard to find the list of available courses.
  • Click Construction, then click Photovoltaic Systems Installation.
  • Click the module link you wish to take and the Enroll Me button.
  • After clicking the button, you will be redirected to the lessons inside the module.
  • You may take the tour to be guided inside the system accordingly.
  • If you accidentally enrolled in a course, click the gear icon at the right corner of the course title and click Unenroll me in this course.

How to Get the TESDA e-Certification

  • You need to finish all course modules and pass the assessment tests.
  • Complete the post-evaluation form
  • Download the certificate

How to Apply for Assessment and TESDA Certification

Once you have completed the required hours to complete the course, you may apply for an assessment and certification. 

  1. Duly accomplishments Application Form;
  2. Correctly and completely fill out the Self-Assessment Guide of your chosen qualification;
  3. Three (3) pieces of colored and passport-size pictures, white background, with collar and with name printer at the back;
  • Pay the Assessment Fee at the Assessment Center Cashier and get the Official Receipt and Admission Slip.
  • Be present at the scheduled date and assigned assessment venue indicated in the Admission Slip. Remember to bring your admission slip on your assessment date.
  • Get the Competency Assessment Result Summary (CARS) at the Assessment Center.
  • Assessment passers must apply for certification at the TESDA District/Provincial Office, where the assessment center/venue is under jurisdiction.
  • Assessment passers can claim their National Certificate (NC)/Certificate of Competency (COC) seven (7) working days after the application for the issuance of COC/NC.
